Sam Excell completes 3 Peaks Challenge

After 23 hours and 47 minutes (including a 2km run at the end) myself and 8 friends managed to scale the 3 highest peaks in the UK in just under the magical 24 hours!

We saw some pretty awful weather on Ben Nevis and Scafell Pike but luckily finished in the dry on Snowdon. I am certainly feeling the effects of it and navigating stairs seems to be a particular issue but all in all it was a great experience!

So far I have managed to raise over £900 and as a group over £6500 which is incredible so thanks very much to everyone for their donations, the hospice of St Francis will be thrilled with such a figure. There is still time to donate if you haven't done so already😉
