ACIER ALLIÉ 300M

Le 300M est un acier faiblement allié fondu sous vide de très haute résistance. Il s’agit essentiellement d’un acier AISI 4340 modifié avec du silicium, du vanadium et une teneur en carbone et molybdène légèrement supérieure à celle du 4340. Le 300M présente une très bonne combinaison de résistance (1900-2100 MPA après traitement thermique final), de ténacité, de résistance à la fatigue et de bonne ductilité. Le 300M est un alliage à durcissement à cœur.
