Titanium Grade 4 is a commercially pure form of titanium and has the highest strength of all the commercially pure titaniums. It has a higher strength to weight ratio than 301 stainless with excellent corrosion / erosion resistance in a wide variety of environments. Grade 4 (AMS 4901, ASTM B265, UNS R50700) can be found in aerospace, medical and industrial applications where high strength is needed.
