AMS 5643, AMS 5604, AMS 5622 Suppliers & Stockists

Dynamic Metals is a specialist supplier and stockholder of 17-4 PH stainless steel, supplying aerospace and motorsport industries with certified material to AMS 5643, AMS 5604 and AMS 5622 since 1997. No Minimum order quantities.

17-4 PH is a martensitic precipitation hardening stainless steel that has superior resistance to corrosion and outstanding mechanical properties. Conforming to the stringent AMS 5604, AMS 5622, and AMS 5643 specifications, this alloy is engineered to meet the most demanding industrial requirements.

Corrosion resistance is attributed to the chemical makeup of the 17-4 PH alloy. Its combination of chromium, nickel, and copper gives it the ability to resist a wide range of corrosive conditions.

Precipitation hardening allows the mechanical properties to be precisely controlled through heat treatment, producing high strength and hardness while retaining good toughness and ductility.

The combination of high strength and low density makes 17-4 PH well suited to weight-critical applications — from aerospace structural components requiring high performance without added mass, to oil and gas equipment operating in hostile conditions and precision engineering parts across a broad range of demanding industries.
