17/4PH STAINLESS STEEL - AMS5643

17/4 is a precipitation hardenable stainless steel and can be supplied single melted (AMS 5643) or Vacuum Arc Remelted (AMS 5622). It is a medium to high strength material achieved through appropriate ageing treatments (see table below). 17 4PH Stainless Steel (AMS 5622, AMS 5643, AMS 5604) also has good corrosion resistant properties.
